There are new USA Government regulations effective March 1, 2007 based on the battle against terrorism.

Due to these factors, it is now law that each and every package that has an item with a declared value inside, needs to be inspected by us to see the contents and to make sure we obtain the value declaration that we now must make a copy of and  include in our export report. This will also be applied to inspect the merchandise to make sure it does not contain any Dangerous Merchandise of any type or medicines not legally accepted for exportation out of the USA.

In order to expedite our customer’s shipments and because it is a custom of the merchandisers to introduce the declared value invoices inside the boxes, we are now, more than ever, obligated to open the boxes to verify the contents of the package and remove the invoices to present them to US customs prior to making the shipment with the airlines.

If this action violates your right to personal privacy (that our company has always highly respected) please notify us immediately in a written form and we will always contact you before opening a package and will wait for you to send us the commercial invoice in order to process with customs and then ship the goods to you, otherwise, we will proceed to open  the boxes and immediately ship them to you providing there is a commercial invoice inside and there are no Dangerous or prohibited items for exportation.
